Sprouting is a business development company who's purpose is to help SMEs grow by providing strategic direction and a wide range of business services to support the implementation of a strategic business plan.
We, at Sprouting, have been reading with interest the articles on Living Wage and the promotion by the Leader of the Opposition, The Rt. Hon. Ed Miliband MP.
We feel very strongly that its the wrong time to promote Living Wage, after such a period of economic turmoil and we are only now beginning to see the start of a little growth. In this respect, we took the decision to write to Ed Miliband updating him on SMEs together with a few recommendations. The press release and letter is available for viewing:-

Your views would be very much appreciated and if we get an audience or infact, a round-table discussion with the political parties, we would like to get your views on the Living Wage and whether it is appropriate to replace the Minimum Wage levels.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Sprouting Team.
