How did you get on?

Still smiling I crossed the finish line, collected a bottle of water, my medal and could see the back end of the Run just starting ......
So, a few of us (people who I had not met before), ran down to the back end of the start group and ran the course again and still were not the last ones to finish Although a few of this group did lose the santa Constume round the course and resorted to running in T-shirt and shorts....
But as you can see I kept it all on ..
However, Mrs D was not to happy as she was a tad cold, but a Hot Chocolate topped with marshmellows soon changed that, which we had in a cafe in Liverpool One
If any one gets the chance to do this next year, it is well worth it - The vast majority of people walk it and I believe today was the day for the most Santa Dash's been held around the world
Next race - Manchester Marathon in April 2012

The village was packed and they had BBQ, hog roast, small Xmas fete and father Christmas. The atmosphere was really good.
That sounds excellent
Another weekend come and gone. Friday, stayed in as it was Mrs D's work Christmas do, so I was on Taxi duty. Saturday, dropped the in-laws off for a coach trip, and came back via Macclesfield. Went through quite a lot of snow in the Landrover, which loosened the 4x4 up .
Then in the evening went out for a few beers with some old friends and visited some of our old pubs - How it as all changed, searched on every door, alot of people looking a bit hostile
Sunday, lazy morning and the Christmas decorations went up, followed by a 8 mile run before tea
